The initial objective of this study was to identify the breakeven point or free cash from LSS FFB income. Breakeven point is uncommitted cash on hand that is available after smallholder oil palm farmers deduct all committed monetary fund from income earned from their fortnightly FFB sales. However, the only way to identify the breakeven point was to also understand the household budget (income versus expenditure). The section has stated the study in Billa Project sites then was rolled out to other sites as seen from the Table 1. For Bialla, work has ceased end of 2018.
